Day 36: Van Horn

Well, we made it to Van Horn after our long delay this morning.  There was really not much of note for the days ride except for our visit to the Valentine Library to fill water bottles and eat a few peanut butter and jelly sandwiches/crackers and our stop at Prada, Marfa.  Then, Beyonce had to go and try to show me up, but as you can see below I have way better hops than her.

The winds were pretty rough also today at about 15 mph out of the north and we were traveling northwest so we were getting blasts of wind most of the day so it made a mostly flat riding day a little bit tougher.  But, we still ended up getting to Van Horn in pretty good time.  76 miles in about 6 hours..  We are grabbing some food now and then starting the process to find our free camping for the night...

Counting down the few days and hours we have left in Texas and looking forward to checking this monster of a state off of our lists.
